It was 2004. I was addicted to reading blogs, like Dooce's, and Gail Armstrong's [0] and all the web developers of the day and, I mean, just so many. I thought life at the time was somehow uniquely tumultuous and even though it was not uniquely so in hindsight, well, those blogs I was reading infused my stress with some tools to survive.

That's what this newsletter feels like sometimes, when I have the spoons to read anything. Whatever you choose to write about, it's the _energy_ with which you right about that draws me in. So do what you want! Of course! And it'll still be good.

This is so so good and relatable. I walked away from writing years ago and felt all of these feels. I’m so glad you figured out how to come back to it on your own terms. Yay!
